With federal and state income deadlines moved back to July 15 because of the COVID-19 pandemic, Chadds Ford Township has extended its property tax discount period until the end of April. Face value payment begins May 1 and the deadline for paying property taxes remains Sept. 30, according to a township proclamation posted on the website.
The discount is 2 percent. Late payment penalties of 10 percent are applied beginning Oct. 1.
