The National Weather Service has issued a flood warning for eastern Chester and Delaware counties through 8:30 p.m.At 230 p.m., creeks and streams were continuing to rise due to runoff from today's heavy rainfall. Minor flooding will take place into this evening along creeks and streams, and in areas of poor drainage. Some locations that could experience flooding include West Chester, Westtown and Kennett Square.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
