Dave Kelleher, the owner of David Dodge on Route 202 in Chadds Ford Township, celebrated the completion of the renovation project of his dealership with a big bash last Thursday. An estimated 150 people — including state and local politicians —showed up for food, music and socializing.

According to Kelleher, the project added 9,600 square feet of showroom space making room for five more vehicles on the floor along with 10 more sales desks and a waiting room that went from 14 to 48 seats. There are also five more service bays and a computerized service check-in.
As for the amenities, Kelleher said the coffee machine makes 100 different kinds of coffee and there are 13 TV screens that be programmed to show 13 different programs, he added.
“I wanted an experience that when a customer is told his car is ready, he says ‘Take a little longer.’”
Guests were treated to a visual history of David Dodge.
