Barbara Ann Garver, 69, of Coatesville, died Thursday, Jan. 1, at Heartland Hospice in Wilmington. She was the wife of Richard H. Garver, with whom she shared 45 years of marriage.
Born in West Chester, she was the daughter of the late Graham and Leona Rich Heath.
Barbara was a certified nursing assistant at Chatham Acres for more than 37 years.
She was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church in Quarryville, PA.
She enjoyed reading, watching TV, and being with her family and friends.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Ronald J. Heath (Deirdre Petrie) of Coatesville, and Butch Heath (Teresa Rice) of Newark; three daughters, Cheryl Atwood (Rob York(of Oxford, Anne Marie Hobson (Ron Fortin) of Elkton, Md. and Patricia Ann Cordero (Manuel) of Lincoln University; three brothers, George Heath of Coatesville, Warren Heath of Rising Sun, Md., and Cecil Heath of Chatham; three sisters, Kit Bennett of Nottingham, Mary Lou Bozette of Toughkenamon, and Bonnie Hilton of Coatesville, 16 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
You are invited to visit with Barbara’s family and friends from 10 a.m. to noon on Friday, Jan. 9, at the Kuzo & Grieco Funeral Home, 250 West State Street, Kennett Square. Her funeral service will follow. Burial will be private.
