• The Kennett Area Senior Center sponsors an afternoon tea party on Tuesday, Aug. 12 from 2:30 – 4 p.m. In addition to a variety of teas, delicacies will be served. • Blues rock guitarist, singer and songwriter Steve Cal' will perform in the courtyard of the Brandywine River Museum of art at 7 p.m. on Aug. 15. • The annual Kennett Mushroom Festival is scheduled for the weekend of Sept. 6 and 7 in Kennett Square. There will be a variety of mushroom foods, mushroom inspired art plus growing and cooking exhibitions. There will also be a mushroom walk/run and an antique and classic car show.
