Angel Luis Rodriguez of Oxford

Angel Luis Rodriguez, 55, of Oxford, died Monday, April 15, at the Temple University Hospital. He was the husband of Esther Boyer, with whom he shared 16 years of marriage.

Born in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico, he was the son of Maria Oquendo of Puerto Rico and the late Jose Rodriguez.

He was a forklift operator for Herr’s Foods in Nottingham for the past seven years.

Angel enjoyed watching baseball on TV, and was an avid Phillies fan. He also enjoyed playing dominoes, cooking, eating, being with his family and friends and playing percussion instruments and all types of music.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by seven sons, Geraldo “Jerry” Pabon of Drexel Hill, Angel L. Rodriguez, Jr., of Drexel Hill, Virgilio Pabon of Wilmington, Arthur S. Boyer of Lancaster, Michael S. Boyer of Oxford, Vincent S. Boyer of Kennett Square and Miguel M. Boyer of Lancaster; two daughters, Nereida Diaz of Landenberg, and Luzdelia M. Boyer-Arroyo of Nottingham; four brothers, Jose Antonio Rodriguez, Francisco Rodriguez, Alfonzo Rodriguez and Gerry Rodriguez, all of Puerto Rico; three sisters, Isa Rodriguez of Virginia , and Annie Rodriguez and Rita Rodriguez, both of Puerto Rico; 17 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by one brother, Juan Rodriguez.

You are invited to visit with his family and friends from noon12;00 to 2: p.m. on Saturday, April 20, at the Kuzo & Grieco Funeral Home, 250 West State Street in Kennett Square. A service and burial will be in Puerto Rico.
