Richard Joseph Bramble, 68, of Kennett Square, died Friday,
July 22, at his residence. He was the husband of Beverly Ritter Bramble, with
whom he shared 37 years of marriage.
Born in West Chester, he was the son of Emma Simmler Bramble
of West Chester, PA and the late George Edward Bramble.
He was the Director of Human Resources at the Chester County
Hospital in West Chester, retiring in 2004, after 40 years of service.
He served his country in the US Navy for 4 1/2 years.
Mr. Bramble was a member of the Episcopal Church of the
Advent, Kennett Square.
He enjoyed flowers, going to the beach, his cat Willow and
especially being with his family and friends.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by two
daughters, Rebecca S. Bramble of Newark and Leslie B. Kelczewski and her
husband Glen of Boyertown.
His Memorial service and burial will be at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, a contribution in his memory may be made
to the Chester County Hospital, 701 E. Marshall Street, West Chester, PA 19380
or to the Neighborhood Hospice, Neighborhood Visiting Nurse Association, 795 E.
Marshall Street, Suite 204, West Chester, PA 19380.
