Philip Rudnick,
78, of Chadds Ford, died Thursday, Dec. 23.
Dr. Rudnick was
a professor emeritus of chemistry at West Chester University, where he was also
the founder and director of the pre-medical program for many years. Since
retirement, he was gratified to be actively involved in raising public awareness
of nutrition and health.
He is survived
by his beloved wife, Helene; son, Andrew; grandchildren, Isaac and Violet; and younger
sister, Paula Polinsky.
A service will
be held at noon on Sunday, Dec. 26, at Schoenberg Memorial Chapel, 519
Philadelphia Pike, Wilmington. Arrangements are being handled by Schoenberg
Memorial Chapel, Wilmington.
