Joan Donnelly Aiken, 77 of Ocean City, Md. and formerly of
Kennett Square, died March 10 at her home. She was the wife of Edward Aiken,
with whom she shared 24 years of marriage.
Born in Wilmington, she was the daughter of the late Paul C.
and Lillian Christie Gray.
Joan was an accountant for the DuPont Co. in Wilmington for
20 years, retiring in 1984.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons,
Shawn S. Donnelly of Ocean City, Md. and Matthew D. Donnelly and his wife Jessica
of Elkton, Md.; and by several grandchildren.
You are invited to visit with Joan’s family and friends on
Tuesday, March 16, from 8:15 to 9:15 a.m. at the Kuzo & Grieco Funeral Home
(610-444-4116), 250 W. State St., Kennett Square. Her Mass of Christian Burial
will follow at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick Church, 212 Meredith St., Kennett Square.
Interment will be in St. Patrick Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Joan’s
memory to St. Patrick Church, 205 Lafayette St., Kennett Square, PA 19348.
