Guy Everette Dishman of Kennett Square

Guy Everette Dishman, 80 of Kennett Square, died June 2 at Chester County Hospital in West Chester.

Born in Jefferson, N.C., he was the son of the late Riley W. and Cordelia Barker Dishman.

Guy was a carpenter by trade and he enjoyed fishing.

He is survived by two sons, Wayne Dishman of Lewisville, and Randy Dishman of Kennett Square; four daughters, Sandrea Tyson of Kennett Square, Sharon Agron of Avondale, Rebecca Trachtman of King of Prussia, and Vicki Snyder of Kennett Square; two sisters, Tencie McNeill and Sally Miller, both of West Jefferson, N.C. and by ten grandchildren.

You are invited to visit with Guy’s family and friends on Saturday, June 6 at the New Beginnings Church, 1120 Newark Road, Toughkenamon, from 10 to 11 a.m.  His funeral service will follow at 11 a.m.  Interment will be in Longwood Cemetery.  Arrangements are being handled by Kuzo & Grieco Funeral Home (610-444-4116), Kennett Square, and online condolences may be made by visiting www.griecofuneralhomes.com.

Dorothy Palilonis McCoy, formerly of Kennett Square

Dorothy Palilonis McCoy, 77, of Fenwick Island Del., formerly of Kennett Square, died Monday June 1, at home.

Born in Delaware County Pa., she was a daughter of the late Bertha Carson.  Survivors include one son, John McCoy of Fenwick Island Del., three daughters, Sandra Losco and her husband John of Drexel Hill, Joyce Matafias of Kennett Square, and Linda Hionis and her husband Louie of Christiana, seven grandchildren, Alexia, Louie, Melina, Shannon, Arianna, Rachel and Anna.  She is also survived by a sister Marion Haday and her husband Steve and several nieces.

A funeral service celebrating Dorothy’s life will be held 11 a.m. Friday June 5 at the Episcopal Church of the Advent 401 N Union St. Kennett Square. Family and friends may visit with the family from 10 -11 a.m. before the service at the church. Interment will be held privately at a later date.
