Tufts University announced that two students from Chadds Ford made the school’s Dean’s List for the fall 2024 semester. Those students are Melissa Griswold and Maille Mojica, both in the Class of 2028. Dean's List honors at Tufts University require a semester grade point average of 3.4 or greater.

The Kennett Township Board of Supervisors has canceled their meeting tonight because the power is out at the township building.
