Longwood Gardens reopening

Longwood Gardens is reopening this week but for now, it’s for members only. According to Longwood’s website:

“On Thursday, June 18, we'll open our garden gates on a limited, non-public basis for our members only. As we have navigated unprecedented times, our appreciation for you, our members, has grown by leaps and bounds, and we send you our heartfelt gratitude for your support, your encouragement, and your love for Longwood.”

When visiting, members will first need to make a reservation and are reminded they need to wear a mask, make room for others, practice good hygiene, mind the green dots, and follow one-way paths. Only the outdoor gardens will be accessible but limited dining and shopping available will be available.

Hours of operation, for now, will be Thursday through Monday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., closed Tuesday and Wednesday.

In a separate email to members, Longwood thanked members for their support and said, “Think fresh air, flowers, fountains, and togetherness...all outdoors. We can't wait to see you in the Gardens.”
