The Chester County Pops Orchestra is celebrating its 10th Anniversary with a very special summer concert series.
Three 10th Anniversary Concerts will be performed at the following locations:
Oxford Area High School, 705 Waterway Road, Oxford, PA 19363, 7:00 pm
Phoenixville Area Middle School, 386 City Line Avenue, Phoenixville, PA 19460, July 19, 3:00 pm
Fugett Middle School, 450 Ellis Lane, West Chester, PA 19382, July 21, 7:00 pm.
Featured will be favorites of audiences throughout the 10 years, as well as some new music looking toward the wonderful future into which Maestro Gehring is taking the Chesco Pops: Broadway favorites, music from the Star Wars epic, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, as well as Celebration Fanfare, written especially for this momentous occasion by composer Joe Tracy. Audiences will also enjoy the Chesco Pops’ Saxaphone Quartet in a rousing performance of Stephen Foster Revisited: Jeff Hart, Jennifer Godowsky, Bernadette Tabakelis and Crystal Brulato.
