Historic Kennett Square hopes area residents will get off on the right foot by strolling into the borough on Thursday, June 18, when the rockin’ party band Good Foot will set the bar for high-energy entertainment.
Third Thursday on State Street, a summer series, will take place from 6 to 10 p.m. State Street will be closed from Broad to Center Streets so that visitors can enjoy outdoor dining, extended shopping hours, live music, strolling entertainers and children’s activities.
The Kennett YMCA, the Garage Community and Youth Center, and the Kennett library will all participate, setting up activities during this family-friendly evening.
In addition to Good Foot, which features Kennett Square Borough Council President Leon Spencer, two other popular groups will provide music: The Rose Project and Sin City Lite. In addition, Kevin Joyce will provide magical entertainment, and this month only, the Victory Brewing Company will offer a beer garden with brews and food.
Parking is free in all areas of the borough’s parking garage after 5 p.m.
