The Kennett Symphony launches its 2009-2010 concert series with Home for the Holidays, a two-show performance, Saturday, Dec. 5. There will be a family matinee at 4:30 p.m. at the Kennett High School auditorium, followed by an 8 p.m. performance.
On Sunday, March 21, the symphony will present a free family concert, Babar the Elephant at the Emilie K. Asplundh Hall on the campus of West Chester University. On Saturday, April 24 there will be a Mozart Requiem at Westminster Presbyterian Church.
The summer series at Longwood Gardens features two performances.david Kim plays Tchaikovsky on Saturday, June 26 and there will be a Highland Fling Saturday, Aug. 21.
