Pennsylvania State Police

Media Barracks

State police arrested a man who had an active warrant from Maryland. The police report said troopers observed Robert Waddell, 51, of Newark, walking along Route 202 at 4:25 a.m. on Feb. 17. Troopers made a welfare check and found there was a warrant for his arrest.

Police said they arrested two men in connection with a Dec. 1 theft at Lululemon in Concord Township. The police report identified the pair as André Debnam, 46, of Collegeville, and Isaiah Bryant, 27, of Philadelphia. They are accused of stealing more than $6,000 worth of merchandise from the store.

Avondale Barracks

Police arrested a 19-year-old man from West Chester for shoplifting at the East Marlborough Walmart on Feb. 22. The suspect was not named in the police report, but he’s accused of stealing a pair of $20 headphones.

Police said they arrested a 22-year-old man from Kennett Square (not named in the report) for DUI in Kennett Township on Feb. 23. The traffic stop was made at 1:47 a.m. on Lenape Road near Route 926.

Kennett Square State Police

Running a red light in Kennett Square led to a Maryland man being arrested. A police report said officers observed a blue SUV making a left turn on red at the intersection of S. Union and W. Cypress streets on Feb. 25 shortly after 8 p.m. Police initiated a traffic stop and found there was an active warrant from Baltimore out for the driver, who police identified as Brian King, 28, of Edgewood, Md. He was taken into custody and transported to Central Booking at Chester County Prison.

Borough police said William Krewatch, 56, of Hockessin, was arrested for DUI and other charges following a hit-and-run accident on S. Union Street at Juniper Street on Feb. 1. According to the police report, officers spoke with the party that had been rear-ended who said the other driver, later identified as Krewatch, exited his vehicle with a beer in hand, finished the drink while observing the damage, and then fled. While leaving the scene, he struck two other vehicles legally parked on S. Union Street, the report said. The accident happened on Feb. 1 and a criminal complaint was filed on Feb. 21.
