• The next free concert at Anson B. Nixon Park is Wednesday, July 31 and features Andrew Lipke. Lipke is a Philadelphia based, South African-born multi-instrumentalist and composer who marries alternative, singer songwriter, folk and classical styles. Expect a full rock band augmented by some strings for sure. The show starts at 7 p.m.
• PennDOT is seeking motorists’ input on traffic safety and driving behaviors through its annual online Highway Safety Survey found at www.PennDOT.gov/Safety. PennDOT will use the feedback from this annual survey to better understand the attitude and actions of the public concerning a variety of driving behaviors. The survey is available through Aug. 12 and should take about five minutes to complete. All responses, including the “comments” fields, are anonymous.
