Mt. Cuba Center will be holding Owl Howls from 5-7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 12 and Friday, Nov. 14. While m any people have heard owls, few have actually seen them, but Mt. Cuba’s landscape provides a great habitat for for three of Delaware’s native owl species – the barred, great horned, and Eastern screech – and winter is the best time to spot them roosting in our trees. Owls are nocturnal, so join us as we search for them just after dusk. Following a brief introductory lecture, we’ll head into the garden and listen to their unique calls. Dress for the weather. The cost of the Owl Howls is $39. Get tickets here.
