
• The Delaware County Symphony will open its 2025–2026 season on Saturday, Oct. 5, at 3 p.m. with a special Chamber Concert in celebration of Delco Arts Week. The concert will feature local musicians performing a diverse program of string music along with a dynamic jazz set by the Rose Tree Pops Jazz Combo. Delco Arts Week Chamber Concert will be presented in Neumann University’s Meagher Theatre. Tickets for the concert may be purchased at dcsmusic.org/tickets
• On Thursday, Oct. 9, Concord Township will hold its Senior Citizen Expo. More than 80 exhibitors from state agencies, local organizations, businesses, and clubs will be on hand to share their expertise and information on services. Refreshments are served, and many door prizes are awarded throughout the morning.

• Fall is an ideal time for planting trees and shrubs. The cooler temperatures and autumn rains help them get their roots established for the following growing seasons. • Kennett Regional Fire Department, made up of Po-Mar-Lin Fire Company, Longwood Fire Company, and Kennett Fire Company, will host their second annual joint Fall Festival on Sunday, Oct. 19, from 1-4 p.m. The event is free to attend, and the whole community is invited to learn about the fire service and fire prevention, meet the men and women who volunteer, and enjoy fall festivities. The festival is at Po-Mar-Lin Fire Co., 36 Firehouse Drive, Unionville, PA 19375.
• The Artists of Landenberg invite the public to discover the thriving local arts community during the 3rd annual Artists of Landenberg Studio Tour, a free self-guided event happening Saturday, Oct. 11, and Sunday, Oct. 12, 10 a.m.–4 p.m. each day. Nine unique studios in scenic Landenberg will open their doors, each featuring original artwork from resident artists along with guest artists and craftspeople. Visitors will enjoy a wide variety of art forms, including paintings in many styles and mediums, jewelry, woodworks, ceramics, fabric art, glass, note cards, and prints. All artwork will be available for purchase directly from the artists.
