Hank’s Place Opens Tuesday Morning! Cherished Landmark Returns!!!

CHADDS FORD, Pa. — After nearly five years of anticipation, Hank’s Place is officially reopening its doors on Tuesday, July 15, at its original site at the intersection of U.S. Route 1 and PA 100 in Chadds Ford.
The relaunch of the beloved local diner, known for its warm hospitality and award-winning comfort food, coincides with the 75th anniversary of its founding in 1950.
Owned and operated by Blue Door Hospitality Group, Hank’s Place will be open daily from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., serving its signature made-from-scratch breakfasts, homestyle lunches, weekly specials, and seasonal fare featuring locally sourced ingredients. Dinner service is expected to return within 30 days, with hours extending until 7 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
The redesigned restaurant features indoor and outdoor seating, including an open-grill dining room with counter service and a covered patio overlooking the scenic Brandywine Creek. All seating is first come, first served, with call-ahead reservations accepted for parties of 10 or more. On-site and adjacent parking is available.
“This reopening is more than just a return of a restaurant—it’s the return of a community gathering place that has meant so much to Chadds Ford for generations,” said a spokesperson for Blue Door Hospitality.
