The Borough of Kennett Square will be under a snow emergency beginning at 6 p.m. on March 3, until further notice.
Listed below are the designated snow emergency routes (Signs are posted along the street of these designated areas.):
Birch Street – north side only;
West Cedar Street – both sides from Meredith to Union;
Cypress Street – both sides;
Meredith Street – west side only between State and Cedar;
Race Street – both sides between State and Cypress;
South Street – south side only;
State Street – both sides;
Union Street – both sides;
Walnut Street – east side only;
East Linden Street – both sides between Union and Willow;
Broad Street – both sides between State and Cypress
North Willow Street – both sides from Linden to State;
Ridge Avenue – south side only;
North Mill Road – both sides from State to the borough line.
Any vehicle parked on these routes will be ticketed and towed at the owner’s expense.
During a snow emergency, borough residents may park their vehicles in the municipal parking garage for free. You are urged to utilize this garage.
