“Longwood has rendered great service to our neighbors for 95 years,” Longwood Chief A. J. McCarthy said in a press release. “We invite everyone to join us for our open house and interact with our team.”

The family-friendly event, which is free and open to the public, will take place from noon until 3 p.m. at the fire company, which is located at 1001 East Baltimore Pike. Food and beverages will be served, and a raffle will be held.

“As is tradition, we will be opening our bay doors to welcome everyone to our station, and to showcase our fire apparatus, equipment, and talent for the community we serve,” McCarthy said in the release. “We have a great line up of activities for all ages.”
