Ballot dropbox now in Chadds Ford

Delaware County has put in a new ballot dropbox, this one in Chadds Ford Township. The box is located in the main entrance of the municipal building — Turner’s Mill, 10 Ring Road, at Ring Road and Route 1.

Samantha Reiner, vice chairman of the Chadds Ford Township Board of Supervisors, is the first to cast her ballot in the newly installed dropbox.

The box is available for people to drop off their mail-in ballots between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. today through this Friday, Oct. 30, and again on Monday, Nov. 2. On Nov. 3, election day, the box will be accessible from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., the same hours as the polls.

A reminder for those Chadds Ford residents voting in person on Nov. 3, the polling place this year is in the former beer distributorship in Painters Crossing shopping center, across the parking lot from Nudy’s restaurant.
