
• The Chester County History Center’s Spring Beer Garden on the Terrace has been rescheduled to Thursday, May 29, from 5-8 p.m. The May 15 date was rained out. This is a free event, and even pets are allowed on the terrace. Food and drinks from Saloon 1t51 will be available for purchase. There will also be live music. Come for the music, the drinks, the food, or the company. No tickets or cover required.

• Oxford Arts Alliance presents the 2025 annual Student Art Exhibition opening reception on June 6, from| 5 to 8 p.m. It runs through June 21. The Oxford Arts Alliance is at 38 S. Third Street, Oxford. This exhibit highlights the exceptional creativity and talent of student artists from a wide array of local schools.
• The 2025 Shop and Dine fundraiser presented by the Friends of Kennett Library is underway. Every raffle ticket purchase supports Kennett Library’s vital programming, such as our Adult Literacy Program, the Makerspaces, and Children’s Programming. How it works: Shop & Dine raffle tickets are digital. Buy tickets and automatically be entered to win; raffle tickets are available for purchase through July 31; every day in August, a winner will be drawn to receive two $50 gift cards to local shops and restaurants; winners can pick up their gift cards at the library. • Mt. Cuba Center is offering a series of drop-in workshops on art featuring different local artists. Let creativity blossom while you draw, paint, or photograph outside in Mt. Cuba Center’s beautiful, ever-changing gardens and natural areas. Advance registration is free and required for participating artists. This program takes place in person at Mt. Cuba Center on Saturday, June 7, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (rain date: June 8).

• The Grand has announce that the multi-platinum classical crossover quartet, Il Divo, will bring their brand-new worldwide tour, Il Divo By Candlelight, to Copeland Hall in Wilmington, this fall (Nov. 1) Il Divo By Candlelight will take audiences on a journey through two decades of romance, heartache, and joy, weaving their greatest musical triumphs into an unforgettable evening. In the U.S., they will be joined by Phoenix-based string trio Simply Three, who will also open the shows.
