State police said they are investigating a reported case of blackmail. The victim, a 77-year-old Concord Township man, told police that someone online threatened to reveal screenshots of conversations to the victim’s family unless he paid money.

A 61-year-old man from Wilmington was arrested for shoplifting at Wegmans in Concord Township on June 1. The suspect was not named in the report, but police said he tried stealing $78 worth of food items.

Lululemon in Concord Township was robbed again. This time, unknown suspects fled after stealing more than $1,300 worth of clothes on June 4.

Avondale Barracks

Police said they arrested two men, aged 31 and 35, both from Kennett Square, following a fight between the two on June 17. The incident happened on School House Road in East Marlborough Township, just before 6 p.m. Neither man was identified by name in the report.

Kennett Square Police Department

The suspect wasn’t identified in the report, but borough police said they took a driver into custody for DUI on June 14, shortly before 11 p.m. The traffic stop took place on S. Broad Street after officers observed the vehicle driving without headlights or taillights turned on.
