
• Delaware County Symphony presents a Concert in the Park on Wednesday, June 11 at 7:30 at Rose Tree Park, part of the Rose Tree Summer Festival. The symphony is opening the season with this free concert that features music by Schubert, Tchaikovsky, Elgar, and others.
• Westtown Township is partnering with Caroline Young Yoga for Baby Yoga on Tuesday, June 3, from 10:30-11 a.m. It’s billed as a fun, developmentally appropriate yoga class for babies 12 weeks- pre-walker. Enjoy songs, dance, and gentle yoga poses. Bring a yoga mat or towel. It’s indoors at Oakbourne Mansion. Go here to register.

• Chenoa Manor, an animal sanctuary and learning center in Avondale, is holding three music events this summer from 5-8 p.m. on June 14, July 26, and Aug. 23. Music at the Manor includes performances by talented local musicians, complimentary cocktails and snacks, a crackling fire pit, and time to wander along the tree-lined stream at the sanctuary. • It’s Gin & Junipers at Mt. Cuba Center on June 14. From garden to glass, this well-loved spirit has evolved from an herbal medicine to a staple behind the bar, originating in the Middle Ages and popularized during the reign of King William III. Gin derives its predominant flavor from juniper berries. Today, gin is produced in subtly different styles and brands. Learn the history of gin, the role of junipers in gin production, and taste a variety of gins distilled with herbs, spices, and fruit. Garden admission included. (Ages 21 and over). • Take time to experience An Intimate Evening with Cody Fry at Longwood Gardens on June 18, beginning at 7:30 p.m. Considered a “genre-bending singer, songwriter, composer, producer, arranger, and multi-instrumentalist, Fry is perhaps best known for his time on American Idol and his viral hit I Hear a Symphony. Tickets range in price from $68 to $84 and are available here.

• Tickets are now on sale for two shows at The Grand, one in October and the other in February. In October, The Grand presents Mandy Patinkin in Concert: JUKEBOX. In February, it’s Adam Pascal & Anthony Rapp: Celebrating 30 Years of Friendship & Music. • A free public talk on the History of Crebilly will be given at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 7, at the Westtown Township offices, 1039 Wilmington Pike. The talk will be presented by members of the Westtown Historical Commission and will include architects who personally designed some of the many buildings on the property. Crebilly is the latest major addition to Chester County’s open space inventory.
