• Pennsylvania State police are investigating a report of a break-in at a barn on Parkerville Road in Pennsbury Township. The victim, a 74-year-old man, reportedly told police that someone entered the barn and ransacked the place sometime between March 11 and 21. Police said so far it’s unknown what, if anything, might have been taken.
• Police said they arrested a 14-year-old boy from Chadds Ford for making terroristic threats against a 15-year-old boy from Chadds Ford. The incident happened on Unionville Road at 2:33 p.m. on March 29. Troopers determined that the younger boy made several derogatory and threatening comments to the other student.
• Pete Lucy, 73, of West Grove, was cited for careless driving for his involvement in a March 28 accident on Route 1 near Bayard Road in East Marlborough Township, police said. According to the report, Lucy became distracted and struck a vehicle from behind. Police reported no injuries but said both vehicles sustained disabling damage.
• Police said Robert S. Benditt, 30, of Avondale, was cited for following too closely after reportedly striking another vehicle from behind on Lenape Road in Pocopson Township on March 27. The report said Benditt was driving north on Route 52 when he struck the other vehicle. No injuries were reported.
• Police arrested a 23-year-old man from New Castle for receiving stolen property. The report said police made a traffic stop on Baltimore Pike in East Marlborough Township on Feb. 15 and discovered the vehicle had been reported stolen in Philadelphia.
• A 54-year-old woman from Pennsbury was arrested for DUI on March 29. Police said they had been to the McMullan Farm Lane property an hour earlier for a domestic dispute, but the woman involved later drove down the road following another person while she was under the influence.
• Police said they arrested a 55-year-old Philadelphia man for drug possession in West Marlborough Township on April 1 following a hit-and-run crash on Newark Road. The driver was not identified, but the report said he showed signs of impairment, and a search led to police finding drugs on his person. The incident happened at 4:28 a.m.
• On April 1, at 1:38 a.m. police arrested a 41-year-old man from West Chester for DUI. Police made the traffic stop on E. Street Road at its intersection with Lenape Road. According to the report, field sobriety tests indicated the unidentified driver was impaired.
• A 34-year-old woman from Wilmington was arrested on April 1 for DUI. The woman was not identified.
• A one-car crash led to an 18-year-old being cited. Police said Andrew S. Klein was traveling eastbound on Lenape Unionville Road when he failed to negotiate the left curve and went off the south side of the roadway, striking a telephone pole and its guidewire. Police reported no injuries. 
Kennett Square Police Department
• Failing to stop at a stop sign led to a driver being arrested for driving a vehicle not equipped with an ignition interlock. The incident happened on March 22 at the intersection of E. Cope Road and S. Walnut Street in Kennett Square. Police identified the driver as Izri Dominguez-Flores whose license had been suspended for DUI. According to the report, police observed a vehicle failing to stop at a stop sign. Dominguez-Flores reportedly told police that the vehicle was his father’s and that he was using it for work. Police ran the name through NCIC and found he was restricted to only operating vehicles with an ignition interlock system.
• Police said Samuel Perez-Reynoso was arrested for trespassing on March 21 for being one of two men seen on NVF property that was fenced off and posted with No Trespassing signs. The report also said Perez-Reynoso had no identification on him and he reportedly identified himself as Romero Reynoso. While running the information for Reynoso, police were able to identify him by his real name after noting the date of birth he had given them.
• According to a police report, Benjamin Rosenau, 36, of Kennett Square, was arrested and charged with DUI and related traffic offenses, after the 2014 Honda he was operating was stopped for traveling without the use of any rear lighting, lamps, or other illuminating devices, between the times of sunset and sunrise. The incident happened on March 26, at approximately 1:17 a.m., in the 300 block of W. State Street. Upon making contact with Rosenau, officers said they observed indicators suggesting intoxication, and field sobriety tests showed impairment. He was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI and submitted to a chemical test of his breath, resulting in a blood alcohol level of 0.113 percent.
