Police Log Feb 10: Indecent exposure, theft, DUI

• State police said they arrested a West Chester man for indecent exposure following a Feb. 5 incident at the Wawa on Route 202 in Chadds Ford. The report identified the suspect as Andrew Little, 33. The report did not give details of the incident, only saying that Little was arrested, processed, and then transferred to Chester County sheriffs due to a probation violation.

• Police are investigating the theft of auto parts on Jan. 24 in Chadds Ford. The unknown suspect took a catalytic converter from one vehicle and the control panel from another. The incident happened in the 1200 block of Route 1.

• Someone damaged a sliding front door at a home on Fox Valley Lane in Concord Township. Police are investigating the incident reported on Jan. 30.

Avondale Barracks

• Police said seven people were victimized when three unknown suspects entered multiple unlocked vehicles parked on Cannoneer Circle in Pennsbury Township during the overnight hours of Jan. 6 and 7. The thieves wound up taking $24 in cash and pepper spray valued at $10.

• Jan Michael Pecunia Rodriguez, 18, of New Castle, was cited for speeding on Feb. 5 in Pocopson Township, according to state police. The report said Pecunia Rodriguez was driving north on Wawaset Road when he failed to negotiate a left-hand curve because of excess speed and the car left the roadway, striking an embankment, and flipped onto the driver’s side. The driver was not injured.

• A Kennett Square man faces DUI charges after a one-car crash in East Marlborough Township on Jan. 22. Police said Michael P. Hoernig, 51, was driving eastbound on East Doe Run Road when his Toyota Corolla ran off the right side of the road and struck an embankment east of the roundabout at Unionville Road. He was cited for DUI, the report said. The accident happened shortly before 8 p.m.
