I’m writing to tell people why Rhona Klein has my personal endorsement for township supervisor. We now have the opportunity to elect a supervisor whose career and background is actually in township administration.
Certainly, bright and energetic people who become supervisors can learn on the job. That’s been the standard for years. But, Rhona has already spent years in local government administration, most recently in London Grove Township, and is already seasoned in the workings of municipalities. And her graduate degree is in public administration — with a concentration in energy and environmental policy. This is the kind of background we need in a supervisor who is going to have to help Chadds Ford face decisions regarding the balance between preservation and progress.
I also know Rhona will ensure that everything she and the board do, including hiring, will be conducted with the utmost transparency and commitment to clear, frequent communication. Let’s elect a dedicated manager and 20-year Chadds Ford resident, Rhona Klein.
