Cinco de Mayo set to brighten borough

Cinco de Mayo will enliven the streets of downtown Kennett Square on Sunday.

From pinatas to paintings, Cinco de Mayo, a multicultural, family-oriented street festival, will take place in downtown Kennett Square on Sunday, May 4.

Presented by Casa Guanajuato, the festival highlights Hispanic arts, music and food. A diverse selection of regional financial, health, and educational organizations will also participate.

The festival will be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will necessitate some detours for area motorists. Visitors are encouraged to park in the garage on Linden Street, which will be free on Sunday. For more information, visit http://www.casagks.org/#!cinco-de-mayo/cfvg.
