Helen Lammey Reeves, 70, of Landenberg, died peacefully,
surrounded by her family, on Friday, July 22, at the Chester County Hospital.
She was the wife of Arnold Reeves, with whom she shared 24 years of marriage.
Born in West Chester, she was the daughter of the late Paul
and Lola Dickinson Lammey.
She was a medical secretary for many years.
Helen was a member of the Kennett Square Missionary Baptist
Church in Kennett Square and the Eastern Star.
She enjoyed bowling, roller skating, square dancing,
baseball, being with her family and friends and going to Potter County. She was
a very avid collector of pigs.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons,
Stuart Michael Moore and his wife Wendy of Cochranville, and Paul Joseph Moore
and his wife Mary Ann of Ridley Park; one step-son, David A. Reeves and his
wife Tammy of West Chester; one step-daughter, Beth Thomas and her husband Chip
of Kennett Square; one sister, Virginia L. Way of Wilmington; four
grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She will also be sadly missed by
Dawn Rizzi of Waukee, Iowa, whom she sponsored as a Fresh Air child for many
years.

from 10 a.m. to noon, Wednesday, July 27, at the Kennett Square Missionary
Baptist Church, 408 Bayard Road, Kennett Square. Her funeral service will
follow at noon. Burial will be in Unionville Cemetery.
