State Rep Craig Williamn, R-160, lights the shamash, the “attendant” candle, of the hanukkiah, the Hanukkah menorah, during a menorah lighting at Glen Eagle Square Sunday evening. The shamash is used to light the other candles during the eight-day festival. Wind made it difficult to use the lighter.
