Given the attendance at three recent breakfasts scheduled earlier this summer for constituents, an area lawmaker said he plans to continue the outreach.

State Rep. Dan Truitt, R-156, said the popularity of his breakfast series, coupled with the numerous issues percolating in Harrisburg, prompted him to schedule two town halls. Both will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. to accommodate those who could not attend the morning events.

The first will take place on Thursday, Sept. 22, at the Birmingham Township Building, which is located at 1040 West Street Road in West Chester; the second will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 4, at the West Goshen Township Building, 1025 Paoli Pike, West Chester.

In an email, Truitt said the events offer an opportunity for residents to hear about exactly what is happening in Harrisburg and for Truitt to hear their concerns. RSVPs are requested by calling 610-696-4990 or by emailing Eric Smith at [email protected].
