The following animals are ready to be adopted from the Brandywine Valley SPCA in West Chester.

Maurice
Maurice wants to be your best friend. Currently splitting his time between being an office kitty and hanging out with his friends in our outdoor colony at West Chester, Maurice is looking for a family to love. More social than his colony friends, we think Maurice would do well in a home with other cat-friendly pets, a family, or even just a single person looking for the “purrfect” companion. This 3-year-old has stories to tell and will greet you with mews and very loud purrs. He seeks attention, will curl up beside you, just close enough to touch you, or even in your lap if allowed, but is always alert and ready to follow you everywhere. His one drawback may be a tripping hazard since you’ll find him always at your feet. Eyes down when Maurice is around. Ask to meet this social man at the West Chester Campus today. You can name your adoption fee for Maurice through Sunday, Nov. 16.

Belle
Belle came to us when her owner could no longer care for her. She is a sweet senior lady who knows basic commands. Don’t let her age — 10 years old — fool you, she is an energetic lady too. Belle is dog-friendly and likes to run with her new friends in the yards. If you have a soft spot for this pretty lady, please come meet and bring everyone to meet her today. You can name your adoption fee for Belle through Sunday, Nov. 16
