• A 67-year-old woman from Pocopson Township reported to the state police that someone fraudulently used her credit card to buy an iPhone. Police are investigating.
• State police are investigating the report of an attempted sexual assault in West Marlborough Township. The incident was reported by a 41-year-old woman from Parkesburg on March 15. According to the police report, the woman said she was invited to a house and was drugged with a beverage, but that she doesn’t believe she was assaulted.
• Margaret R. Olivero, 22, of Oxford, was cited for speeding following a two-car crash in Pocopson Township on March 24, police said. The incident happened on Lenape Road south of Williamsburg Drive at 12:41 p.m. According to the police report, Olivero was traveling north on Lenape and the vehicle was southbound on the same road. But Olivero driving too fast for conditions, lost control and slid into the lane of oncoming traffic, police said. Both drivers were injured and were taken to hospitals for treatment. 
Kennett Square Police Department
• Borough police said Jose Alba-Beltran, was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI and submitted to a chemical test of his breath, resulting in a blood alcohol level of 0.193 percent. On April 3, police were dispatched to S. Broad Street and E. State Street for a property damage accident. They saw Alba-Beltran leaning on a Range Rover’s front fender/hood. Upon making contact with Alba-Beltran, officers observed indicators suggesting intoxication, and field sobriety tests showed impairment.
• Hayalyn Bryan was arrested for unlawfully carrying a firearm, a police report said. According to that report, officers on stationary patrol observed a silver Nissan with heavily tinted side windows and windshield traveling southbound on S. Union Street. A traffic stop was initiated and Bryan presented his Delaware license but said he wouldn’t reach for the other documents in the glove compartment because there was a firearm there. He was taken into custody, processed and arraigned, and then given $5,000 unsecured bail before being released from police custody.
