Brought to you by the Chadds Ford Township Community Emergency Response Team (CERT)

Presented by:

Doug Fearn, Chairman
Lyme Disease Association of Southeastern Pennsylvania, Inc.

Monday, May 20 at 7:00 pm the Chadds Ford Township building

10 Ring Road, Chadds Ford, PA

How knowledgeable are you and your family about the symptoms, prevention and treatment of Lyme disease caused by tick bites?

Do you know that Lyme disease can cause fever, severe headaches, neck stiffness, extreme fatigue, rashes, arthritis with severe joint pain and swelling (particularly the knees and other large joints), facial palsy, intermittent pain in tendons, muscles, joints, and bones, heart palpitations or an irregular heartbeat, episodes of dizziness, shortness of breath, inflammation of the brain and spinal cord, numbness or tingling in the hands or feet, problems with short-term memory, etc?

As of December 2018, Pennsylvania ranked first among the 50 states with 11,900 new Lyme cases.  Because only 10% of Lyme cases are reported, the CDC believes that the number of infected individuals in Pennsylvania was closer to 119,000.

This seminar has been designed to give you the information you need to help you and your family.
