Avondale Barracks
• Troopers from the Avondale barracks will be conducting a Sobriety Checkpoint at an undisclosed location this coming weekend, May 31 through June 2.
• Police said they arrested a 78-year-old woman from Kennett Square for shoplifting at the East Marlborough Township Walmart on May 9. The report gave no details on what was stolen, nor did it mention the suspect by name. It did say that the woman became aggressive toward employees.
• A 55-year-old man was arrested on harassment charges on May 26 in East Marlborough Township. Police did not identify the suspect, but said the victims were a 44-year-old woman and a 17-year-old boy. The report also said the suspect was intoxicated and that he shoved the victims in their residence and then fled the scene.
• Police are investigating a retail theft at the CVS on E. Baltimore Pike in East Marlborough Township shortly before 4 p.m. on May 24. The suspect is described as a black female, 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing approximately 200 pounds. She was wearing a gray, long-sleeved crewneck and black yoga pants with a multicolored shower cap/head wrap, the report also said.
