Local co-working spaces are now available in three Chester County towns.

Phoenixville now joins Kennett Square and Downingtown for Work2gether options.

The traditional work model has been transformed post-pandemic, and Phoenixville is now at the forefront of that change. Local coworking spaces offer an economical option to work, hold meetings, and host events close to home.

After a year-long transformation of the building located at 21 Gay Street, Nick Winkler, owner of Work2gether, has announced Chester County’s newest space to work, meet and gather is open for business.

“We’ve endured some of the most challenging times during the pandemic and a historic flood in our Downingtown location,” Winkler said. “With that behind us, we’re thrilled to be joining the Phoenixville community. “The workplace has changed since the pandemic, but our desire and ability to connect hasn't,” Winkler said. Work2gether is a space designed for hybrid or remote employees, entrepreneurs, small teams, or just individuals looking for an environment to be productive and motivated. We take the guesswork out of where you work so you can focus on your WORK. Work2gether is intentional in our design and on cultivating collaboration and community because we believe our best work is done together."

With three locations in Chester County, Work2gether now offers north, central, and southern locations throughout the county giving members even more flexibility to move between the county as needed. Their flagship location in Downingtown is located at 107 East Lancaster Avenue, followed by Kennett Square at 120 East State Street. Phoenixville has joined the family-owned and operated network rounding out all three locations.

“We are not only excited to be in Phoenixville,” Winkler said, “but we are blessed and amazed at the level of interest since we announced we were coming to town. Winkler added, “we opened our doors already at 75% capacity in our dedicated space offerings and currently only have two private spaces available.”

The Phoenixville location is fully staffed from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. No membership is required and customers can access the space for only $5/hr. For those that need more regular use members can grab a Flex Membership for $100/mo; a value not seen in the industry and by far the most popular package among all the locations. A Flex membership gives unlimited days per month and extended hours during non-staffed hours. In addition, the Phoenixville space offers a dedicated desk and office space for teams and individuals looking for a more permanent option with 24/7 access. When asked why Phoenixville was chosen for their third location Winkler said, “Work2gether is more than a productive place to work or cool space to host an event; it’s an opportunity to be local and Phoenixville is an incredible example of a local community. Members can grab lunch or cater an event from their favorite Phoenixville restaurants, shop at local businesses, and utilize Phoenixville’s many attractions. Our members have many options to live, work and play locally.”

In addition to workspace, Work2gether also offers multiple meeting spaces ranging from small rooms to the conference room called The Livery, which has multiple configurations and can accommodate larger groups.

Work2gether can also be reserved for special events, such as birthday celebrations, showers, milestone events, and micro-receptions. With an abundance of restaurants just footsteps away, coordinating catering is simple.

As a native of Chester County, Winkler said that he and his wife “are thankful to be serving another one of our local communities,” and went on to say he looks forward to where Work2gether can go from here. “We aren’t sure what the future holds for Work2gether but we’re exploring new ideas and we’re excited about where these ideas might lead.”
