Harley Molineux, 21, of Garnet Valley, was arrested for drug possession following a traffic stop in Chadds Ford on Aug. 21, a police report said. According to that report, Molineux was stopped in the 1700 block of Wilmington Pike for vehicle code violations and was found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana.

State police are investigating the theft of a black 2021 Audi S8 that was stolen from the Audi of West Chester site on Route 202 in Chadds Ford Township. Police received notice of the theft on Aug. 12, but the report said the car had been taken “sometime within the last 10 days.”

Police are also investigating the reported theft of a 2021white Honda Pilot. The theft reportedly happened on John Hannum Circle and is believed to have happened sometime between 10:30 p.m. on Aug. 15 and 8:45 a.m. on Aug. 16.

According to a police report, a 53-year-old Chadds Ford man was scammed out of $350,000 worth of Bitcoin during an eight-month period. The scam was part of an investment scheme, the report said. No other details were released other than police were contacted on July 5.

A 34-year-old man from New Castle, Del., was arrested for shoplifting at Wegmans on Aug. 5. Police said the suspect, not named in the report, tried stealing almost $300 worth of merchandise from the store but troopers arrived in time to detain him before he could flee.

Police said they arrested Yasmin Octavia Stephens, 37, of Wilmington, for shoplifting at Wegmans in Concord Township on July 17. The report said she tried to steal $79 worth of personal care products by hiding the items in her shirt and bag.

Christopher King, 38, of Glen Mills, was arrested for stealing more than $400 worth of multiple vitamin supplements from Wegmans on June 11 and 12, a police report said.

An apparent dispute between neighbors resulted in a case of criminal mischief in Chadds Ford Township. Police said a neighbor of a 74-year-old man on Brintons Bridge Road broke one of the man’s light posts and spray-painted another. The damage is estimated at $1,050.

Marquis Swain-Lewis, 29, of Chester, was arrested on DUI charges while pumping gas at the Wawa on Route 1 at Brinton Lake, a police report said. According to that report, police observed a green Dodge Ram 1500 van go through a steady red light. Police made contact with Swain-Lewis as he was refueling and noticed red, glassy eyes and slurred speech. Field sobriety tests indicated impairment, and he was arrested, police said.

Police said a 51-year-old man from Brookhaven was arrested and charged with stealing a Genesis Mountain Bike from the Walmart in East Marlborough Township on Aug. 6. Police did not identify the suspect in the report. The bike is valued at $228.
