• The Union Army had hundreds of generals, but 10 of them had connections with Chester County, with several of them being killed and one being awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor. Learn about Chester County's Civil War Generals: They Marched Where Duty Called during a virtual presentation that honors the lives, campaigns, and achievements of our county's top officers in the American Civil War. • Members of the Garden Club Federation of Pennsylvania will be presenting a National Garden Club Standard Flower Show entitled “From Sea to Shining Sea” at Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square on Sept. 10 and 11. It will be open to the public on Saturday from 1 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the ballroom. The show is included with admission to Longwood Gardens.
