Summer concerts continue at Mt. Cuba Center. "Beat" the heat with live R&B/Rock music from The Bickel Brothers on Friday, Aug. 19, from 5-8 p.m. Local food trucks will be on-site, and beer and wine will be available for purchase. Concord Township’s next movie in the park is Godzilla vs. Kong. Show time is dusk on Friday, Aug. 19, at the township park on Smithbridge Road.

The Union Army had hundreds of generals, but 10 of them had connections with Chester County, with several of them being killed and one being awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor. Philadelphia sports fans and sports radio listeners will have the chance to see and hear legendary sports journalist Ray Didinger on Wednesday, Sept. 7 at Uptown! Knauer Performing Arts Center. Members of the Garden Club Federation of Pennsylvania will be presenting a National Garden Club Standard Flower Show entitled “From Sea to Shining Sea” at Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square on Sept. 10 and 11. It will be open to the public on Saturday from 1 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the ballroom. The show is included with admission to Longwood Gardens.
