A 52-year-old man from West Chester lost more than$2,000 worth of property when he left a backpack near a gas pump at the Wawa on Route 1 in Concord Township on June 30. Among the items apparently taken were an Apple MacBook and a Model 10 iPhone. The report said the victim was able to track the phone to a location in Camden before losing the signal.

Police are investigating a shoplifting incident at Wegmans on June 4. A report described the suspect as a white man, 30-50 years of age, wearing a blue shirt, olive pants, and black shoes. Loss prevention recovered the merchandise, but the suspect fled in a black BMW. However, the plates on the BMW were from a Chevy work van.

Avondale Barracks

State police arrested a 60-year-old woman from Wilmington on July 1 on shoplifting charges. The report gave few details, only that she allegedly stole $48 worth of personal care items from the Walmart in East Marlborough Township.
