John O'Driscoll

Born in Philadelphia, Jack raised his family in Holland and retired to Hilton Head, S.C. He later returned to Glen Mills, residing at Maris Grove, and lived the last three years in Willistown.

An accomplished title insurance executive, Jack served as president of his field's professional organization, the Pennsylvania Land Title Association, and loved guiding home buyers and sellers through one of their biggest life decisions. He graduated from North Catholic High School and La Salle University and was a member of St. Bede the Venerable in Holland, and later St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Glen Mills.

Jack will be missed by many. His daughters remember him as Dad, his grandchildren as Pop-Pop or Jack Attack, and his friends as O'D or Dip. We'll miss his humor, his grateful heart and his stories of life that stretched back to his childhood sandlot and getting in (good) trouble at every turn. He cherished his wife and loved his three girls without limits. He relished sharing his passion for real estate (often reading the WSJ to all of us), the Phillies, La Salle Explorers, and a good cold beer or milkshake whenever he had the chance. Jack took to heart his sense of personal responsibility to his family, his friends, and his faith. He had a Jack-ism for everything, many that we all mimic, but will never be able to deliver with his twinkle.

A visitation will be held on Friday, Dec. 3 from 9:15-10:15 a.m. at St. Cornelius Church, 160 Ridge Rd., Chadds Ford, PA 19317 followed by a funeral mass at 10:30. Interment will take place at St. Thomas the Apostle Church Cemetery, 430 Valley Brook Road, Glen Mills, immediately following mass.

Donations in Jack's memory may be made to Compassus (compassus.org) or Holisticare (holisticarehospice.org) whose many gifted caregivers carried our family through the last years of his life.
