DelCo Symphony turns 50.

Delaware County Symphony is celebrating its 50th anniversary on Dec. 5 with a concert at Meagher Theater, Neumann University. "DCS Through the Years" represents compositions performed during each of the five decades of the orchestra’s existence. Former conductor and Music Director Roman Pawlowski will serve as master of ceremonies for the concert. There will be a reception following the concert. Guests are also invited to browse the symphony's collection of memorabilia, on display, before and after the concert. Tickets may be purchased online or at the box office.

The next Coffee House concert at Darlington Arts Center is Dec. 4.

Darlington Arts Center’s Coffee House Concert Series continues Saturday, Dec. 4 at 8 p.m. with The Johnathan Whitney Trio. The concert takes place in the Ann Anthony Community Space at Darlington Arts Center, 977 Shavertown Road in Concord Township. Coffee, tea, and dessert are included in the ticket price, and guests may bring snacks or beverages. Seating is limited, and a streaming option is available here. Social distancing will be observed, and masks are required unless guests are eating or drinking. Coffee House doors open at 7:15 p.m. with the pre-show at 7:30 p.m. Ticket information is available here  or by phoning 610-358-3632.

West Chester University's 100th Holiday Program is Dec. 11.

West Chester University’s Wells School of Music celebrates the 100th anniversary of the annual Holiday Program with a celebratory concert on Saturday, Dec. 11, at 3 p.m. in the 1200-seat Emilie K. Asplundh Concert Hall, Philips Memorial Building, 700 S. High Street, West Chester. General Admission tickets are $12 at www.wcupatix.com. Limited parking is available across and along the street just outside the Philips Memorial Building. Parking is also available in West Chester’s M Lot, just a short walk South. Purchasing tickets in advance is strongly encouraged.
