Wine and jazz returns to Longwood Gardens on Sept. 18.

Acclaimed trumpeter Etienne Charles brings Caribbean rhythms and the New Orleans trumpet tradition to Logwood Gardens next month. The popular Longwood Wine & Jazz Festival returns on Saturday, Sept. 18 from 2-9 p.m. Enjoy fantastic jazz courtesy of the Branford Marsalis Quartet, René Marie Quintet, Etienne Charles: Creole Soul, High & Mighty Brass, and Ensemble Novo while savoring wines from around the world. Marvel at Main Fountain Garden performances throughout the day and round out the experience with a jazz-inspired Illuminated Fountain Performance that evening.

• The Grand Opera House announced its 2021-2022 Broadway in Wilmington season. The season — currently consisting of four productions — kicks off in November with Sara Bareilles’s Waitress, Riverdance 25th Anniversary Show, and closing with Fiddler on The Roof. The season also contains a limited engagement of SUMMER: The Donna Summer Musical. Subscriptions and single tickets go on sale to the general public on Monday, Sept. 13 at 10 a.m. Subscription packages begin at $93, while single tickets start as low as $35 per ticket for select seats. CCAA releases art class schedule.

• Whether an interest in art is in watercolors or ceramics, the Chester County Art Association has a class offering. Want to advance your drawing skills? Perhaps try the Beginner/Intermediate Drawing class. Want to learn how to make your own jewelry? Try our basic or more advanced jewelry-making courses, where you can explore basic wiring techniques, stone setting, polishing/finishing, and so much more. Have you ever thought about sculpting? There’s a hands-on class that will teach you to translate complex shapes and experiment with various sculpture tools. Adult and children’s classes are available. • The Chester County History Center is planning Underground Railroad Walking tours for Sept. 1 and 8, from 6:16 to 7:35 p.m. The cost is $15, or $12 for members with code. For more information or tickets, go here.

• The Delaware County Arts Consortium invites the public to experience every facet over eight days during the third annual Delco Arts Week, Saturday, October 2 through Saturday, October 9.
