Police Log March 17: Revenge porn, indecent exposure

Police said they arrested Shawn Petro, 45, of Indianapolis, Ind., for what would be considered revenge porn. The report said Petro posted videos on Twitter showing an ex-girlfriend from Concord Township performing sexual acts in the nude. The videos were posted without the victim’s consent, police said, and Petro refused to remove them when the victim asked. The report speculated that the videos were a form of revenge for the victim ending the relationship.

State police are investigating the theft of almost $2,000 worth of over-the-counter medications from the CVS in Concord Township on Feb. 25. The police report said the unknown suspect stole $1,763 worth of medication sometime between 6:24 and 6:40 p.m. on Feb. 25

A March 5 traffic stop on Route 1 at Evergreen Drive led to the DUI arrest of a 51-year-old man from Newark. Police said the driver, not named in the report, exhibited signs of intoxication and that he was arrested after a field sobriety test. The incident happened at 7:48 p.m.

According to a police report, Miguel Nazario Ramirez, 52, of Philadelphia was cited following a two-vehicle crash at Route 1 and State Farm Drive in Concord Township on March 8. The accident happened at 5:42 a.m. The report said Ramirez was falling asleep at the wheel when he ran through a red light and struck a vehicle that was turning left onto Route 1. Ramirez was also injured in the accident and transported to Riddle Hospital, police said.

A 46-year-old man from Aston, not named in the report, was arrested for indecent exposure in Concord Township on March 4. The report said the man was masturbating while looking at pornography in his vehicle. Two teenage girls — aged 16 and 17 — witnessed his activity.

Police said they arrested a 38-year-old woman from Wilmington for DUI in Chadds Ford on March 7 at the intersection of Route 1 and Ring Road. Police made the stop shortly before 2 a.m. after observing vehicle code violations.

Avondale Barracks

Police arrested a 37-year-old man from Chester on DUI and drug charges following a traffic stop on Feb. 18 in East Marlborough Township. Police made the stop just after 3 a.m. on East Baltimore Pike at Orchard Avenue. The police report gave no reason for the traffic stop but said troopers determined the driver was under the influence of drugs.
