PennDOT has announced the following road projects, which are weather-dependent and could affect drivers in the greater Chadds Ford area during the week of Feb. 27 to March 5. Motorists are urged to allow extra time if they are traveling through one of the construction zones. Work schedules are subject to change.

• Tree trimming will cause lane closures on Harvey and Ring roads in Chadds Ford Township on Monday, March 1, through Thursday, March 4.

• Tree trimming will cause lane closures on Route 1, between Thornton and Cheyney roads in Concord Township, from March 1 through 4.

• Guiderail repair is expected to cause periodic delays on Route 1 in Concord Township from March 1 through April 30.

• Route 3, Gay Street, in West Chester, will be closed day time due to utility work from March 1 through July 1.

• A transformer replacement will cause daytime lane closures on Route 162 — Embreeville Road — between Stargazer and Harveys Bridge roads in Newlin Township, between March 1 and March 5.

• Gas installation will cause lane closures on Route 926, at Haldane Drive in East Marlborough Township, from March 1 through March 12.

• Utility work will force daytime closure of Gay Street, between Walnut and Church streets in West Chester, from March 1 through July 1. Detours will be posted.
