Mt. Cuba Center wants to help first tome gardeners.

Mt. Cuba Center suggests that people who have no gardening experience but want to give it a go might consider growing native plants. There are some bullet-proof species to get you started. Garden coach Nancy Bell discusses these plants’ merits and how they have adapted to their local habitats, including soil type, sun and shade patterns, moisture levels, and more. By planting the right plant in the right place, it should thrive with little extra care. Two dates and times are available, Feb. 17, from 10 -11:30 a.m., and Feb. 24, from5:30-7 p.m. The cost is $29 for the online-only sessions. Register here if interested.
