Warren Cook, president and CEO of SymbianceHR, and a contributor to Chadds Ford Live will be offering two series of free webinars for the community to take advantage of every Monday for the next five weeks. The goal is to help the community by offering businesses guidance on dealing with Covid-19 challenges and helping individuals faced with unexpected unemployment and the need to transition, forcing them to interview without preparation. Here are the registration links. For The Power of Differentiation - Job Search Guidance, here, and for Returning to the Workplace Amid Covid-19 Challenges, register here.

The Business and Professional Association of Western Delaware County is planning an in-person at LaFava restaurant this coming Wednesday, Aug. 19, from 6-8 p.m. This event would be outdoors, with the state-ordered distancing of tables. If it rains, LaFava will move us to their ballroom, which would be within the space legislated by our Governor’s guidelines. Masks are mandatory at this event, except while eating and drinking. The BPA treasury will provide beer and wine for the two hours of the event; spirits can always be ordered but will be charged to the member. The cost is $25 per person. Online payment is required. To pay online with a card, go here.
