During a brief teleconferenced Board of Supervisors’ meeting Wednesday night, Pennsbury Township Manager Kathy Howley announced two events.
A large Dumpster will be in the township parking lot for residents who need to dispose of large items later this month. The Dumpster will be available Thursday through Saturday, April 23-25. Howley said after the meeting that they won't take electronics but would airconditioners and refrigerators but there woukd be a chage for them at SECCRA because of the need to dispose of freon. There woukd also be a charge for tires, she said.
The township is also planning a free shredding event for Saturday, May 2, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the township’s parking lot.
