Wolf issues stay-at-home order

Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf issued a stay-at-home order this afternoon. The order is for Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, Allegheny and Monroe counties. Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney had already issued such an order for the city.

The order is in place until further notice and school closures have been extended for another two weeks.

Roads, grocery stores, pharmacies, beer distributors, laundromats and gas stations may remain open. Clothing stores and other retailers are to close down as of 8 p.m.

State police are authorized to issue citations for violations.
